This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump features flush seal line taps, pressure tappings, and a rear pullout design. The discharge port is located at the top center line to assist in self-venting.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a 284 JM frame with feet. It is configured for 230/460V, 3PH power and uses an across-the-line starting option. The motor is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and meets NEMA standards and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements with AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump has a DOE PEI of 0.89.
