This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It is configured with a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection, both utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a bronze wear ring and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for monitoring. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a stainless steel shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 182 T-frame. This motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical configuration is 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH, with an across-the-line starting option. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler to connect the pump to the motor. This equipment has a DOE PEI rating of 0.88.
