This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The bearing housing uses sealed-for-life ball bearings and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 324 T-frame. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and includes an OSHA-compliant coupler guard and a Woods coupler. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump operates in a 40°C ambient environment and has a PEI value of 0.94.
