This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 5" suction and a 4" discharge. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and is configured with a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump includes a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. It connects via ANSI Class 125 flanges and employs a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, fitting a NEMA 256 T-frame. The motor operates on 230-460V, 3PH power and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a standard Woods coupler, a coupler guard, and greasable bearings. It also features AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.93 and uses an across-the-line starting configuration.
