This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. This configuration utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 145T frame. The electrical configuration requires a 230-460/60/3 power supply and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, using a Woods coupler for connection. The pump is configured for across the line starting and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.87.
