This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The pump uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, flush seal line taps, and sealed-for-life ball bearings.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured with an NEMA 256T frame and operates on 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power. It includes across-the-line starting, AEGIS shaft grounding, and meets NEMA Premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump and motor are mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The system is rated for 40°C ambient temperature operation.
