This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing, a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal configured with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F and is suitable for clean water applications. Pressure tappings are included on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 1 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor NEMA 143T frame motor with an ODP enclosure. This motor is rated for 230-460/60/3 operation and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, including an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The motor is connected to the pump via a Woods coupler, protected by a standard coupler guard, and mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan. This configuration utilizes across the line starting and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. This product has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
