This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 10" nominal impeller and is constructed with a cast iron casing, bronze impeller, and bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The dry shaft design prevents fluid contact with the shaft, while the rear pullout configuration allows for servicing without disturbing system piping. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections, and the pump includes flush seal line taps for the installation of an external filter.
This unit is configured with a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a 213JM frame with feet and an ODP enclosure. The system operates at 1750 RPM and requires 230-460V/60/3PH power with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly operates at a 40°C ambient temperature under NEMA standards, and the unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
