This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 2" suction connection, and a 1-1/4" discharge connection. The assembly includes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a rear pull-out configuration for maintenance access without disturbing the system piping. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid and includes flush seal line taps. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250 °F.
The pump is driven by a 1-1/2 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in a 145 JM frame style with feet. The motor features an ODP enclosure, AEGIS shaft grounding, and is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency criteria per MG1-12.55. This unit utilizes an across-the-line starting configuration and has a PEI of 0.88.
