This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing, a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the unit includes flush seal line taps along with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is a premium efficiency model that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a 143 JM frame style with feet. This assembly maintains a PEI value of 0.85.
