This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 6" suction and 5" discharge ports, both utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. It includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The assembly includes flush seal line taps for filter installation and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge assists with piping alignment.
This unit is configured with a 50 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure, operating at 3450 RPM. It uses a 324 JM frame with feet and is rated for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards according to MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump operates with an across-the-line starting configuration and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The pump assembly maintains a DOE PEI of 0.95.
