This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. It uses a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent fluid contact with the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 300 °F clean water. This configuration incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, while the top centerline discharge simplifies piping layouts and provides self-venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor utilizes a 254 JM frame style with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding to maintain premium efficiency in accordance with NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. This equipment is rated with a DOE PEI value of 0.9.
