This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 4" suction, and a 3" discharge. The unit includes a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections, and the bearing housing contains permanently lubricated, sealed-for-life ball bearings.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 213T frame. It is configured for a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and utilizes across-the-line starting. The motor features premium efficiency, meeting MG1-12.55 standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This pump configuration has a DOE PEI value of 0.91.
