This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed in a cast iron casing. The assembly uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This seal is rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump casing includes a bronze wear ring and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate maintenance and system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 125 HP WEG motor in a NEMA 405 T frame. The motor enclosure is ODP and configured for a 460/60/3 power supply using an across the line starting method. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This configuration includes an AEGIS SGR, an insulated bearing on the NDE, and a PEI rating of 0.93. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards.
