This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor in a 213T NEMA frame. The motor features an ODP enclosure, premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The power supply is 230-460V/60Hz/3PH with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.89 and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
