This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump includes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and enables self-venting. Flush seal line taps are provided for the installation of a filter.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with an ODP enclosure, a 184 JM frame with feet, and operates on a 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply. The unit utilizes an across the line starting option and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA standards, has a DOE PEI rating of 0.93, and is designed for a 40°C ambient temperature with CCW rotation.
