This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge. The pump utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It incorporates a bronze wear ring, stainless steel shaft, and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The assembly uses a dry shaft design with a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing frame includes permanently lubricated sealed-for-life ball bearings, and pressure tappings are provided on both suction and discharge connections.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 286T NEMA frame. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor. This equipment has a PEI value of 0.92 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
