This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge connections using ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter NSF61 stainless steel impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The pump construction incorporates a dry shaft design and includes flush seal line taps along with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge ports.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a NEMA 256 frame. The electrical configuration requires 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is a premium efficiency model that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This unit features a DOE PEI of 0.9 and an HI energy rating of 10, and it is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature.
