This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of stainless steel, housed within a cast iron casing and cover. The assembly includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies layout and enables self-venting.
This unit operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and utilizes across the line starting. The motor features a 213 JM frame with feet and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The system is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature and supports fluid temperatures up to 250 °F.
