This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing with center-line discharge. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing frame contains sealed-for-life ball bearings and features flush seal line taps along with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP, TEFC WEG motor with a 145 T-frame configuration. It is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and utilizes across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This model has a DOE PEI value of 0.88.
