This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent the shaft from contacting the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists in simplifying piping layouts.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured with a 143 JM frame style with feet and connects to a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This unit has a PEI value of 0.83.
