This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft. It incorporates a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. This unit also features AEGIS shaft grounding.
This pump operates at 1450 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 256T frame. The electrical configuration is 380/50/3, utilizing an across-the-line starting method. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump and motor are mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The bearing frame utilizes greasable bearings.
