This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge connections with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing and cover, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design and includes flush seal line taps for filter installation and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration provides self-venting capabilities.
The pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in a 213JM frame with feet. The motor is TEFC, rated for 230-460/60/3 PH, and features premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards with AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with CCW rotation and utilizes an across the line starting method. This assembly complies with a DOE PEI value of 0.84 and adheres to NEMA standards.
