This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge connections. The pump uses a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of stainless steel. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve to facilitate maintenance. The seal assembly consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing the unit to operate at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes ANSI Class 125 flanges and is suitable for clean water applications.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor. The motor is configured with a NEMA 213 T frame, ODP enclosure, and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. It requires a 230-460/60/3 power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly features AEGIS shaft grounding, a woods coupler, a standard coupler guard, and is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan. The unit maintains an ambient temperature rating of 40°C and has a DOE PEI of 0.88.
