This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve mounted on a stainless steel shaft. The assembly utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of EPT rubber and a ceramic seat, providing a pressure rating of 125 PSI. This design allows for the maintenance of the seal and internal components without disturbing the system piping.
Powered by a 15 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 3450 RPM, the pump utilizes Aegis grounding and runs on a 208V, 3PH power supply with a DOE PEI of 0.45. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
