This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The pump is configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges and does not include a wear ring. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, while the top centerline discharge configuration simplifies piping layouts and reduces strain.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and no drip cover. The motor is configured with a 184 JM frame with feet and supports 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for 40 °C ambient conditions and has a DOE PEI of 0.84.
