This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" stainless steel impeller. The pump uses a dry shaft design that prevents fluid contact with the stainless steel shaft, which is protected by a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal includes a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. The pump casing includes integrated pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 182T NEMA frame. The power requirement is 230-460/60/3, utilizing a standard across the line starting option. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan and uses a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The system is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature, features CCW rotation, and has a PEI value of 0.85.
