This end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with integrally cast mounting feet and a center-line discharge for positive air venting. The unit integrates a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. This dry shaft design eliminates contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. A mechanical seal with a ceramic seat and EPT rubber ensures pump integrity at a maximum pressure of 125 PSI. The construction allows for service without disturbing the system piping, and the casing includes gauge ports for suction and discharge connections.
The 15 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operates at 3450 RPM and utilizes Aegis grounding, powered by a 200-230V, 3PH supply with a DOE PEI rating of 0.43. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 4X / IP 66 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
