This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection. It includes a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates ANSI Class 125 flanges, a bronze wear ring, and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This seal is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor housed in a 213 T-frame. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a guard. The motor is premium efficiency rated and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump meets NEMA standards for a 40°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI value of 0.91.
