This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze and includes a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing system piping.
The unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP WEG TEFC motor in a 284 JM frame with feet. The motor provides premium efficiency meeting MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. Power configuration is 230-460V, 60 Hz, 3PH with across the line starting. The pump is configured for 40°C ambient temperature, NEMA standards, and CCW rotation. It maintains a PEI value of 0.94. The top center line discharge facilitates piping layouts and supports self-venting.
