This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a nominal 9-1/2" diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. It includes a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes integrally cast mounting feet and provides pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This model operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP, TEFC, WEG motor in a NEMA 213T frame style. The electrical configuration supports 230-460/60/3 PH power with across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. It meets NEMA standard requirements, includes AEGIS shaft grounding, and conforms to premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.88.
