This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It incorporates a slip-on shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the shaft from contacting the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit features pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps.
The pump is driven by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for 230-460/60/3 PH operation. The motor operates at 1750 RPM and uses a JM frame style with feet. It complies with NEMA standards and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency ratings. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and utilizes across the line starting. This pump is designed for a 40°C ambient environment and maintains a CCW rotation. The unit has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.96.
