This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge, both with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 10" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing that incorporates a bronze wear ring. The pump uses a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve, equipped with a mechanical seal featuring a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This configuration is rated for clean water temperatures up to 300°F. The assembly utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 254 T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and features Across the Line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding device. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler. This pump maintains a 40°C ambient rating, counter-clockwise rotation, and a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
