This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. It uses a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber accommodates temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, while flush seal line taps accommodate external filters. The discharge is oriented at the top center line to support self-venting and simplified piping layout.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with an ODP enclosure, a drip cover, and a 213 JM motor frame style with feet. The pump functions at 230-460V/3PH/60Hz with a 40°C ambient rating and CCW rotation. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55, incorporating AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a PEI value of 0.84 and is configured for across-the-line starting.
