This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 2-1/2" suction, and a 1-1/2" discharge. The unit utilizes a 7-1/2" nominal diameter NSF61 stainless steel impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250 °F. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft construction to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid.
The pump is driven by a 3 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor in a TEFC enclosure with a NEMA 182 frame. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply using Across the Line starting. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base with an integrated drip pan, Woods coupler, and standard coupler guard. This pump is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.85 and an HI energy rating of 15.
