This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge ports, both utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. It incorporates a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the pump shaft and circulating fluid. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber handles temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting.
This pump is powered by a 1 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a JM frame style with feet. The motor is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH electrical service and operates at 1150 RPM. It meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly performs within a 40 °C ambient temperature range and utilizes an across-the-line starting option. The motor frame size is 145.
