This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring and a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It is constructed with a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the stainless steel shaft. The assembly includes a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal featuring a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP, 230-460/60/3 TEFC motor in a NEMA 254T frame. The WEG motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The entire assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base equipped with an integral drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler. This configuration is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and holds a PEI of 0.89.
