This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The design integrates a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, which prevents fluid contact via a dry shaft configuration rated for 125 PSI. A mechanical seal utilizes a ceramic seat and EPT rubber to provide a barrier against leakage. This pump incorporates pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring, while the volute includes integrally cast mounting feet for secure installation.
This assembly utilizes a 100 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis Grounding and a 380-460V / 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI of 0.46. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 4X / IP 66 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
