This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The bearing frame assembly houses sealed-for-life bearings and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for a 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply. The motor is mounted to a NEMA 324 frame and includes a welded base with a drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. This EISA compliant motor features AEGIS shaft grounding. The equipment is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and fluid temperatures up to 250°F. This model has a PEI of 0.93 and an HI Energy Rating of 7.
