This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 4" suction and a 3" discharge connection. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. The assembly incorporates a bronze impeller and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is constructed with ANSI Class 125 flanges and employs a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The unit operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. This motor is configured for a 184T frame and operates on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power. The assembly is installed on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The motor is configured for across the line starting, meets NEMA standards with a 40°F ambient rating, and features premium efficiency performance with AEGIS shaft grounding.
