This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 5" suction and 4" discharge connections, utilizing ANSI class 125 flanges. It incorporates a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump design includes a slip-on shaft sleeve, a dry shaft configuration that protects the shaft from system fluid, and flush seal line taps. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design enables servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge facilitates self-venting.
This pump is driven by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor with a JM frame featuring mounting feet. It operates at 3450 RPM and is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and operates with counter-clockwise rotation. It features across-the-line starting and carries a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
