This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal utilizes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. This unit is configured for counter-clockwise rotation and does not include a wear ring.
The pump uses a 3 HP, 1750 RPM TEFC motor on a NEMA 182 frame. The motor is a WEG premium efficiency model that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. Electrical requirements are 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a standard coupler guard. This equipment is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.85 and a Hydraulic Institute energy rating of 15, and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
