This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and cover with a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Viton rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump is constructed with ANSI Class 125 flanges and does not include a wear ring. The design incorporates a dry shaft, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured with a 145 frame size, JM frame style with feet, and is rated for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor meets MG1-12.55 Super E Premium Efficiency standards and is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment. Starting is configured for across the line operation. This pump maintains a DOE PEI of 0.85.
