This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction port and a 1-1/4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it supports operating temperatures up to 250 °F. The assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge facilitates piping layouts.
This pump is driven by a 10 HP, 3450 RPM, TEFC Baldor motor in a 215 JM frame with feet. The unit operates on a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is a premium efficiency type that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The configuration features a 40 °C ambient rating and counter-clockwise rotation.
