This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump includes a dry shaft design with a replaceable, slip-on bronze shaft sleeve that prevents fluid contact with the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The design incorporates flush seal line taps and a rear pullout configuration to allow for maintenance without disconnecting system piping.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and utilizes a NEMA 284 JM frame with feet. The pump includes across-the-line starting and AEGIS shaft grounding. This model meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a PEI value of 0.89. The top centerline discharge design assists with piping alignment and pump venting.
