This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of stainless steel. The pump casing and cover are cast iron. The shaft incorporates a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing the system piping.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a NEMA 284 JM frame with feet and operates on a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The starting configuration is across the line. The motor meets NEMA standards and complies with the premium efficiency rating specified in MG1-12.55. This unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.93. The top center line discharge design assists in piping alignment and reduces strain on the system.
