This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top centerline discharge supports piping layout alignment. The pump also includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is housed in a 324JM frame style with feet and includes a factory-installed drip cover. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
