This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design enables maintenance without disturbing the system piping.
This unit is powered by a 10 HP Baldor TEFC motor with a 215 JM frame style and mounting feet. It operates at 3450 RPM and is configured for 230-460/60/3 electrical service. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature, features a drip cover, and operates with counter-clockwise rotation. It uses an across-the-line starting option and has a DOE PEI value of 0.89.
