This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction connection and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F in clean water applications.
The pump is driven by a 15 HP, 1750 RPM TEFC Baldor motor in a 254 T-frame enclosure. It operates on a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with across-the-line starting and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a standard Woods coupler protected by an OSHA. This configuration utilizes greasable bearings and achieves a DOE PEI of 0.87.
