This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft and incorporates a mechanical seal assembly consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This configuration is rated for a maximum operating temperature of 250°F.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor Super E TEFC motor in NEMA frame 145. It is configured for 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan, a coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. This equipment features AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. The pump is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.81 and an HI Energy Rating of 19.
